My father has used this type of heater for years now so when we saw this offer we new it was time to replace his old ones.on receiving the halogen heaters we immediately unpacked them and got them set up and ready to go.imagine our surprise when we turned them on and nothing happened.we checked all connections and fuses nod all was ok.we then found that if we put a bit of pressure onto the top of the heater it came on,we did the same for the second heater and the same happened we tried both heaters on different floor coverings but they still would not work,we found the problem to be the heaters don't seem to be heavy enough to operate the safety switch on the underside of the heater.so we had to re package the heaters and arrange recollection of them,and my father has went back to his old heaters until we can find a heater without this fault.
