I have a Toyota Yaris and the dashboard is sloping downwards towards the driver. This mat would probably work if the dashboard was flat but I found my Tomtom navigator was top heavy and any slight bump or surge of car speed resulted in the mat lifting up from the dash and toppling off.

Due to a metal lid in the dash does not let it sit well, so does not look neat.

Does what it says on the box. Holds my Garmin 1695 nice and steady where I want it.
Shame about the long wait for delivery, was delivered the day after I phoned to complain. (14 days) Otherwise, the product was 5 Stars.

Why didn't I buy one of these earlier? It's so good I am now buying one for my husband who was impressed at how neat it looks and how it fits any dashboard. My windscreen just wasn't suitable for attaching my Tomtom so I had been propping it up on the console which resulted in it falling off a couple of times - v. dangerous and totally unnecessary if I had known about the Genius mat earlier.

not very good, yes there are no marks on the windscreen, but sat nav not much use when its fallen into the matwell! not sure if this may be because mat doesn't lie flat on my dashboard.

This mat seems to be just what I wanted, my Tom Tom sat nav holder fits perfectly and the mat sits perfectly on my Golf's dashboard. No more marks on my windscreen!

product looks good and well made and it will be a relief to put it in a better location than either far away on windscreen to have it falling off or propped up low around the central column in the ashtray hidden behind the gear stick! So far I have not used it travelling but have tried it around eye level on the flat in front of the radio and heating info on my Civic . . . so looking good

Took ages to arrive. Ok product but well overpriced for a small rubber mat with a smooth middle. Not sure how long it will last seeing as it has to be peeled from the dashboard to stow away?

I must admit to being very sceptical about the advertised claims for this product; however, having had delivery I am pleasantly suprised to find it does exactly what is claimed. the mat sits securely on the dash of my Mondeo and the Sat Nav suction mount sticks onto the centre smooth ring on the mat. On a recent motor way trip (about 100 miles) it stayed perfectly in place, there was no vibration of the sat unit and nothing moved.
I have found an old bit of plastic sheet which I stick the mat on when not in use, this keeps the surface clean.
Verdict, does what it says on the tin, first class.
