We bought this for two reasons, one, to stop neighbourhood cats stalking the birds at our feeders. And two, to allow our elderly cat to establish our garden as his territory when we moved. It has fulfilled both tasks admirably. We have now arranged an electricity supply in the house so we don't have to run out into the garden when our own cat wants to go out. The neighbourhood cats sit arround the edges of the garden, but no longer come into the zone, making it safer for our cat and the birds!!!
