Great little dehumidifier which has removed lots of moisture from the air. We use it sometimes to dry washing when the weather is bad and it does the job superbly. Not quite silent but certainly much quieter than the previous 'normal' type of dehumidifier. Would recommend to anybody who is looking to buy one.

The Neostar looked a little on the small side when It arrived as it was replacing my clapped out 10 year old banger that leaked water all over the floor. However I unwrapped it followed the simple instructions and away we went! Brilliant machine much more efficient than my old one, takes out twice as much water although a little noisy on it's high setting which I use ti dry cloths I would recommend to any one looking for a good dehumidifier. Very happy.

My wife and I have been very pleased with the Neostar dessicant de-humidifier. We have been using it for two months now. We use it every day to stop the black mould growing on the walls. We set it to 50% humidity for an hour. We find it absorbs about a pint of water in that time. We use it by the bathroom and the kitchen to cut out the moisture at source. It also helps when we are drying clothes indoors. Our only problem initially was finding the lifting handle. The details of which are not marked on the instruction leaflet. Once we found it at the top of the device we were away.

Very pleased with my Neostar Dehumidifier; can't quite believe the amount of water it collects. We had damp problems in our conservatory, especially after heavy prolonged rain or if I have been drying washing in there. The damp patches on the wall have now all but disappeared after a few uses and the black mould has not returned. I like the fact that there is a timer so I don't need to worry about forgetting to turn it off. Also a handy carrying handle

Disappointed that it is not as quiet as the advert makes out. We have it on the landing but cannot run it at night.
Does a good job of collecting water and the various timer and moisture settings are good. Thought it would enable us to stop using our other conventional dehumidifier which is a bit noisy but have to run both.

Seems to be doing what it is suppose to be doing only fault was with the delivery company the package was left at a neighbour but there was no note in my letterbox to inform me of this .even though I have a functional door bell and was at home on the delivery date inspite of this the product seems to be doing a good job so far

So Far so good only critism to date is it is a little bit awkward to empty not a major issue but with artheritic hands it is not easy. I use a tray to carry it to avoid spillage

After reading the other reviews, I decided to go ahead and buy this - and boy am I glad I did.... My daughter lives in a mobile home and it has suffered from condensation - wet windows, wet clothes etc. This dehumidifier sorted the problem out immediately. Just one day of use cleared up all the condensation and as an added bonus, the home is toasty warm without the use of the many heaters my daughter was having to use. She doesn't have it turned on during the night as she says the noise from it is noticeable then, but during the day it's fine. I don't know what the cost of running it is yet but it certainly is a great piece of equipment.

once ordered, tracking delivery time easy,arrived day and time given.
This product does everthing it says, great in the conservatory for drying the washing,stops condensation in the bedrooms keeping cloths fresh.The only down fall is the size of the water tank for ever filling.

Have been very surprised how efficient the de humidifier has been. It has been very useful in aiding clothes drying and has helped reduce, although not entirely eradicate, the damp smell.

We new when to expect delivery by the tracking system that Yodel supply.
The product is every thing said Quiet,great for drying washing taking the moisture
from the room,we have one other room which gets condensation this it clears with ease.only down fall is the collection tank is to small

Ordered the above through Mirror reader offers. My order was accepted. Waited a week no sign of dehumidifier so I rang to find out when to expect delivery. The supplier was out of stock with new stocks expected in September. I cancelled the order and bought the product elsewhere.
I just have to wait until September now and hope that the order does not turn up then.
Will not use Mirror reader offers again very disappointed.
The dehumidifier is excellent and would recommend to all needing to use one.

Bought this dehumidifier to help with condensation damp in winter months. So far it's been brill, the walls are dry, rooms are warmer and an extra bonus you can dry your washing with it too. It is compact to move to other rooms. This is a defo keep for the winter months.

I bought this to replace a cheaper model that used to pump out cold air... which meant I needed heating on in winter, more heat meant more condensation!
This model costs more to run, as it puts out gentle heat when I run it on the low setting. But it does mean that I can turn off the central heating most evenings. It also features a filter and an ioniser, and the air in my front room smells better. I set the timer to 2 hours per evening, run the machine on medium for 15 minutes, and then turn it to low... at that rate, it pulls a tank full of water every 2 to 3 days.

So far i have found this excellent, although not silent, it is not too bad just a low hummimg noise on the lowest setting. I couldnt believe the amount of water in the tank after only on for 2 hours.

It definitely does what it says on the box. It is so quiet that I can leave it on at night in the bedroom and not be disturbed. As I don't have a garden I dry my clothes indoors and using this product the clothes dry in half the time and the moisture is absorbed quickly.
I am in my 60's and suffer with arthritis in my hands but, as It is so light I can easily transfer from room to room with little effort.
I own another dehumidifier but the Neostar Advanced Compact Desiccant Dehumidifier is by far a superior product and would highly recommend it.

It is a quiet machine and very lightweight, easy to use and to empty.Does the job very quickly. My only concern is if the drainer drawer is full then it's a bit heavy and the drawer itself feels a little flimsy and concerned it may break

I have used dehumidifiers for the last 15 years, and this ranks as the best. It is reasonably quiet but it is the extraction rate which pleases me. It requires emptying 3 times a day on medium and this is better than my previous dehumids. I just hope it stands the test of time
