Dear customer – please note: The original Eckman ‘Add-it-2’ has been developed and replaced with the new and improved second generation model!
The improvements are:
1) A more professional 2-stroke engine: in place of the original half crankshaft single bearing 30cc model, this new 32.6cc engine has a full crankshaft supported by two bearings, the advantages of which provide increased reliability and longevity, better balance with much reduced vibration, improved starting and far easier servicing.
2) Harder wearing (longer lasting) square profile drive shafts in place of star-shaped shafts.
3) Increased the length of the extra Extension Pole (originally costing an extra £9.95 but now supplied free of charge), from 76cm (30”) to 1m (39 ¼”), increasing the overall maximum reach from approximately to 300cm (9ft 10”) using the branch lopper. The maximum reach using the hedge trimmer attachment and additional extension pole is 278cm (9ft 1 ¾”).

The new ‘Add-it-2' petrol-powered long-reach Eckman petrol chainsaw and hedge trimmer is powerful, versatile and a pleasure to use. Its extra long reach is extendable to 9ft 4ins!
Boasting a low noise easy maintenance 2-stroke 30cc engine, the Eckman ‘Add-it-2' comes supplied with two interchangeable cutting heads, each mounted on its own 66cm extension pole:
Firstly: a 40cm reciprocating hedge trimmer blade that's angle adjustable to a full 180 degrees and capable of cutting 24mm or one inch stems
Secondly: an 8000 rpm chainsaw fitted with a high quality 20cm Oregon bar and chain to slice through branches up to 20 cms thick in a single cut.
The Eckman set also includes a really useful unique quick-fit ‘short reach' 27cm (10 1/2inch) hedge trimmer pole for close up work and a 76cm (30inch) ‘long reach' extension pole to extend total reach to a massive 2.85m/9ft4ins!
What's more you can turn your new versatile Eckman petrol chainsaw into the ultimate 4-in-1 garden power tool by adding a 24cm triple-cut brush cutter for removing stubborn brambles and a double line bump-feed grass trimmer for lawn and border maintenance.
