Although my original M/C was found to be faulty with a DVD drawer which refused to operate, it was collected and replaced with an alternative M/C within a week, which is working to satisfaction.
The only problem up to now has been my inability to be able to select AV2 on the input select which currently allows only AV1 and DV but this may be down to my ignorance and could possibly be rectified by fitting a HDM1 connector.
Other than that, I have found everything to be as expected and look forward to a trouble free experience for many years to come.

I had an old style video player,and a dodgy dvd player.So I took the plunge and bought the Toshiba,only using it as a playback machine at the moment,but if the rest of the machine is as good,it can only be recommended as an excellent buy.

As one not used to technology, I find that the manual is not easy to follow and we have no television engineers in the area our last one having left about 6 months ago. So setting up is extremely difficult. the product appears to be just what I want

This machine performs well, good reproduction, easy to opperate, my only critisism is that I cannot delete unwanted channels on the Freeview option or sort them into a usable order as I can on my freeview box
