Always out of the office and on the move? The Ion Copy Cat is a handheld, portable scanner you can use to capture books, papers, photos and other documents on the go, no PC or external power source required. It's ultra compact for storing in a bag, laptop holdall, briefcase or drawer.

It's particularly useful for delicate documents that need to be handled with care. The Copy Cat can be angled in multiple directions, making sure not to damage or crease sensitive material unlike normal scanners.

The ION Copy Cat is battery powered (included) and all scans are saved as jpegs directly to an inserted SD card (available separately); once saved to SD card you can later transfer files to your PC or Mac (using the supplied USB lead or directly from the SD card), take them to be printed, or view them on a mobile phone or TV.

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software is included (Windows only) which enables your computer to transform scanned words from a jpeg file into editable text on a word file. The list of uses is endless and at just £79.95 we think its excellent value.
