Lopping out of reach branches needn't be a chore, problem, or safety issue with this, the best electric lightweight telescopic chainsaw from Eckman.

It's handle adjusts and locks to give reach from an already impressive 1.8m to a massive 2.7m (5ft 10 ¾” – 8ft 10 ¼”) meaning most jobs can be tackled from the ground - without the use of a ladder.

Featuring a powerful 750 watt electric motor that accelerates the extra-long, high quality 10” ‘Low Kick-back' Oregon chain up to an incredible 10.5 metres per second, allowing it to slice through branches up to an impressive 10” in diameter with ease.

The Eckman branch lopper electric chain saw has a specially angled Oregon bar which means there's now even more control over your cutting action, so combine this with ultra-low vibration, terrific power, adjustable length and the best quality chain on the market and here's a piece of gardening equipment you'll feel like carrying on working with hour after hour.

on back order still not arrived yet

By Mr Lockley, 06 Apr 2013
Was quoted £300 to prune a small Laburnum tree, took less than an hour to do a similar job. Well worth the money and can now tackle other families trees in the future. Easy to use, great value for money, well made. Highly recommended.

By Mr Phillips, 28 Mar 2013
Very pleased with this product. Very good value.

Have only used it once very briefly. Seemed to do the job successfully. Did have a problem initially with delivery receiving the hedge cutter instead of the chainsaw. Was resolved but delayed delivery quiet a bit.

    Exceptional Value
By Mr Snowball, 06 Mar 2013
This item arrived rapidly and is exactly as described on website. Assembly instructions are simple. Read first, put together as instructed, and you will have no problem. Well balanced even at full extension. Does exactly what it is supposed to. Let the tool do the work and it will cut through a 10" branch with ease. Tensioning and oiling the chain is simple. Take a little time and tension correctly. If you find the supplied oil is not lasting long, see other people comments, then you are using too much oil at any one time. I recommend this 100%.

    Pretty good.

By Mrs Presbury, 02 Jan 2013
it cuts through branches as described but really isnt for the finer cuts if pollarding a tree also the weight is heavy if cutting for prolonged periods when extended

    Secret lopper
By Mr Miller, 29 Dec 2012
We have a neighbour from hell, so I can chop off the branches of a massive oak tree that hang over my garden and year by year takes the light away from my roses without having the embarrassment of my hired workers being refused access. I just lopped them off when she was out. Great"!!!! Cant think of a better tool.

    Chainsaw branch lopper
By Mr Howard, 21 Dec 2012
The instructions could have been better but, contrary to other reviews, I consider that it was fairly easy to assemble this product. Although it is a little on the heavy side when holding at full extension, it cut through a sizeable branch like butter. Glad I bought it.

    Best buy this year
    19 Dec 2012
It came very quickly. It was very easy to put together (1screw). The only thing that is on the negative side is the cutting head doesn't rotate. From a keen gardener.

    Chainsaw Review
By Mr Heaffey, 07 Jul 2012
Instructions not very clear and difficult to put together. Chain has come off a couple of times. Tends to chew up the branches. One of 3 pin sockets sherred off when delivered. Silly little pot of oil provided and only lasts for 30 minutes. Bit dissapointing

    25 Jun 2012
Turned up with the pin sheered off on the plug. Did offer to let me send it back and replace but fiddly to put together so did not want another one just a new plug. Is quite heavy to wield around and does rather chew up the branches. Only supply a tiny amount of oil and only lasted 30 minutes. instructions not very good as to what oil you should buy to replace.

By Mr Henderson, 14 Jun 2012
Easy to use even when fully extended, saved me having to hire professionals - paid for its self in one use

    28 May 2012
saved myself £150 by using the"eckman chainsaw". easy to use good buy

Not Good News for Tree Surgeons
By Mr Watkins, 06 May 2012
Needs care to assemble, but the guide is good, so it was not difficult. Once the chainsaw was assembled, I used it to lop major branches from an oversized magnolia. "Easy-peesy"!! PS: a Tree Surgeon would have cost around £200 just for that job alone. VERY GOOD PURCHASE.

    Top Lopper
    By Mrs Pollard , 16 Apr 2012
This tree lopper is great my husband can not put it down will I have any trees left in my garden great value.

By Mrs Kitchen, 13 Apr 2012
    very impressive for the price

    09 Apr 2012
Very satisfied with what it does. When extended, the power switch became further back and was difficult to reach and stability may be compromised. Overall, this is very useful garden tool.

    06 Apr 2012
DOES WHAT IS REQUIRED. EASY TO ASSEMBLE, EASY TO USE AND A GOOD BIT OF KIT. WOULD RECOMMEND, AND IT IS CHEAPER THAN OTHER MODELS/MAKES

    Lopper Chainsaw
    05 Apr 2012
Great tool has saved me a lot of time. The only downside is the shoulder strap it is not man enough for the job, I have adapted the one I have for my big strimmer.

    04 Apr 2012
Great price, great service, very impressed with the chainsaw goes through like butter, it is a little top heavy and needs strong arms! otherwise highly recommended

By Mr Nicholls, 02 Apr 2012
Very good, did the job i bought it for. Only complaint, the chain did occasionally come away from the guide.

Heavy but gets the job done
By Mr Hooley, 01 Apr 2012
It feels heavier than its 7lb when it using the extension making it difficult to handle, however, it does get the job done. Very powerful, cuts through thick branches very quickly, got frustrated by the chain coming lose quite offten and sometimes coming off the guide completely. take good care when using it.

By Mr Craven, 01 Apr 2012

Yes a great piece of kit when it arrived had to put the chainsaw on its guide easy enough once the chain which became the impossible puzzle was unravelled not done by me I gave up the wife worked her magic and done the impossible puzzle wow. It has great reach but does feel a bit weighty, the chainsaw not the wife . It has a long lead, small shoulder harness which is needed and chain oil . All in all a well made good solid chainsaw well pleased with this purchase .

By Mr Mair, 04 Dec 2011
Awee bit on the heavy side but then again it is not a tool you would use for hours at a time. It certainly does the job for me.
