Designed by HJ Hall, a leading name in men's socks; these calf length loose top socks will be a joy to wear and will gently hold without any discomfort or pain. Manufactured without elastic to ensure that they don't leave unsightly marks on the skin or pinch calves or ankles, they are comfortable to wear and are particularly good for those with circulatory problems or swelling of the feet, ankles, or legs.Socks are supplied in a pack of 12 and are made of 80% cotton and 20% Nylon. They fit men's size 6-11 and are available in a choice of two pack options:
C097: 3 pairs in black, 3 in navy, 3 in grey and 3 in damson

Purchased this item for my partner who is always complaining about his socks being very uncomfortable and too tight around the top.
Pleased to say he is very happy with these socks and he has nothing to complain about now.

These are excellent socks, if - like me - you don't want the irritation caused by most elasticated top socks which are just too tight. I only wear these now.

I bought these socks for my father because he is diabetic and his legs are quite often too swollen to wear regular socks as they are too tight. He is very happy with with these loose top sock and says that they are very comfortable.

These socks are not suitable for wide feet .I purchased them and they only came just over my heel .Therefore are not fit for purpose as my legs were not swollen at the time.I am size 10 shoe wide fitting.

These socks are for those of us who hate the discomfort of elastic biting into your skin. They are comfortable and hard wearing and at an unbeatable price.

The socks have now been washed a few times and are already showing signs of wear ie. ladders appearing. the quality is not very good for the price paid and I find it difficult to believe that they were half price as stated. I would be extremely cautious about purchasing anything else.
